In the first lives the band is greatly influenced by Gianmarco’s great love for Hard Rock despite the fact that the tastes of the rest of the group focus on Alternative, the songs run well and the band begins to work on itself. Gianmarco feels the need to change and plays with LA.Roxx.
In 2012, after playing with Voxver and Blacksmith, Thomas Crimi the Trasher takes over, bringing all the Trash Metal influences the band needed, in the same period the band also collaborates with Arec (Alessandro Curatelli) on keyboards, the band is totally focused on experimentation so as to include in the project the FAN number 1 Alexander Pilaar who begins to play some songs giving space to Gabriele to range on the voice together with John, after an accident that puts him on crutches for a few months Gabriele leaves the drummer position of the Rebels to Alexander Matthew Pilaar.
In 2014 the Band continues its experimentation together with the more than crazy Antonio De Padua Roldàn an eccentric multi-instrumentalist and composer who gives all of himself in the experimentation phase of the Group at the end of which it seems clear to everyone that while the guitarists move towards Pop Rock Music Alex and John clung to the alternative by their nails so the band splits into 2 parts.
It’s 2015 when the Rebels include in the project the super sexy and talented Milton Bolanos and the Legendary Stefano Cordì who with his usual and inevitable style immediately puts the band on other tracks, Stefano in fact with his totally frank honesty has the ability to clearly say where the group needs to work the most in fact in this final phase of experimentation the band first tries different formations and approaches including Gabriele Morresi and Giulia Salvini on vocals but they all immediately realize that managing 3 totally different voices becomes too dispersive and risks not being able to define a final picture.
In 2016 the band has already worked a lot and Milton, Stefano John and Alex participate for the first time in Emergenza Festival despite the band being aware that Milton wants to leave to leave (direction Los Angeles) reaching the regional final and bring a good show as well as a roundup of excellent advice on how to work on yourself.
In 2017 Comes ROMY (Riccardo Romano) immediately essential glue for the formation, has the ability to make everyone feel at home the band in fact becomes a real FAM sharing a lot, they participate arriving again in the final at Emergenza which is an excellent stage for test the formation, on this occasion Stefano is ACCLAIMATED and crowned KING. At the end of 2017 John decides to put aside the bass to be able to concentrate totally on the voice and better manage the stage. 2018 was an absurd year like a bolt from the blue the news arrives, Stefano is suffering from a very rare form of Sarcoma. This news has not discouraged the band that with Ste as FAM not to give up to smile, to react and continue to play and write. In fact, the band records a first version of Sugar Baby with a professional video clip that launches it on the Ligurian scene in 2019 the band takes part in more than 20 live concerts opening concerts for UK SUBS, Necrodeth, Deadless Legacy, Freddy Delirio and the phantoms, When Venus Weeps and Skeletoon. Bruno Valuvato reluctantly leaves the Rebels to devote himself entirely to his project Vox 42, Lorenzo Cuocolo takes over and during the Covid-19 the band begins to record the first Album.
February 2021 The King leaves this land forever full of Love from an infinite number of people, the Rebels decide to continue making music despite the difficulties associated with the loss of such an important member and friend for the band.
In 2022 Lorenzo Bozzi joins the project who impressed the band with his undeniable talent and charisma, Lorenzo Cuocolo leaves the lineup leaving room for bass for MAX (Massimiliano Gioia) current producer together with John.
Together John, Alex, Lollo, Max and Portos resume the recordings of the first album and tribute to the King “ONE KING FOREVER” self-produced with the aim of keeping Stefano’s parts absolutely faithful to how he wrote them. The album was recorded, produced and finally released by Volcano Records in 2023.
